Introduction:
A T-Series and Raj Kanwar’s joint production, ‘Humko Deewana Kar Gaye’ is swathed with the mega star cast to entice the cinegoers. This includes the dashing hefty Bollywood man Akshay Kumar with the heart-hitting gorgeous lass Katrina Kaif and Bollywood bombshell-India’s Most Desirable Woman Bipasha Basu in the lead. This list does not end here….rather it also carries Hindi cinema’s most stylish-adorable sexy man Salman Khan and innocent beauty Bhagyashree in special appearances. To handle the lyrics and music departments, Sameer and Anu Malik have been roped in to do the honors. Since the T-Series label is behind along with Raj Kanwar, Sameer and Anu Malik, the album makes its worth already…nonetheless let’s check it out…..

1)  Humko Deewana Kar Gaye (Sonu Nigam and Tulsi Kumar)
Seemingly saccharine and sugar-coated soundtrack (since the combo of Anu Malik and Sameer is attached to the soundtrack, one can consider it so…) ‘Humko Deewana Kar Gaye’ begins the show with the title track ‘Humko Deewana Kar Gaye’ that stays on the surface till the end appearing in four versions. An utter romance number, it is a feel good song that injects softness in hearts and ears …. the moment it starts playing. Sonu Nigam dolls up the beauty of his singing while endowing the listener with his spongy voice whereas the fellow singer Tulsi Kumar, who has just stepped into Bollywood music arena, steals the fiesta with her exceptionally well delivered rendition. Superb, mind blowing are the comments that fit her aptly. She can safely see herself amongst the biggies of singing world very soon. Keep up the good work Tulsi…it’s just the beginning and you have a long way to go. Sameer dashes off the lyrics, which fully personify the theme of romance. Anu Malik stockpiles the tunes that spread magic everywhere on the listener. The visuals have now come out on your TV screens and this song’s video features brawny-dashing Akshay Kumar and gorgeous Katrina Kaif. No harm in saying that the video further adds boost to song’s value since the cinematography is very crispy and eye-pleasing capturing the beautiful locales in lens. Both Akshay and Katrina hit the hearts with their beauty and stunning performance. One of the biggest numbers churned out so far this year, this track has much potential to win the awards and is taking the place on the top of the charts already.
Rating: 9/10

2) Humko Deewana Kar Gaye – Sad Version (Sonu Nigam)
Versatile Sonu Nigam in his usual wobbly voice sings the sad version with élan. The drum beats and the signature tune of ‘Humko Deewana Kar Gaye’ at the end reels of the song attract a lot.
Rating: 8/10

3) Humko DeewanaKar Gaye – Shorter Version
The shorter version of this track appeals the soul also. It has lyrics like ‘Humko Begaana Kar Gaye’.
Rating: 8/10

4) Humko Deewana Kar Gaye – Sad Version (Tulsi Kumar)
The fourth version again treads with the sadness but this time Tulsi gets behind the mike and lures the hearts in full.
Rating: 8/10

5) Fanaah (Kay Kay)
One has heard the melodious and pottage tracks so far on the soundtrack. Now it’s something of a catchy-pacy stuff with sharp edges to hear to. The luminous vocalist Kay Kay has sung it with brilliance. Anu Malik’s background vocals allure. The lyrics aptly fit to the theme and the Anu’s composition gels well.
Rating: 7.5/10

6) Fanaah – Remixed by DJ Akbar Sami
DJ Akbar Sami does a superb re-mixing, which straightaway finds its place in your
hearts.
Rating: 7.5/10

7) Bhula Denge Tumko Sanam (Sonu Nigam)
Sonu Nigam enters the boulevard once again with tragic number, ‘Bhula Denge Tumko Sanam’ and hits one’s soul with his classy singing. Sameer pens in splendid lyrics, which are taken into the best musical arrangement by Anu Malik. The visuals starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif look good and one loves to give this song good rating.
Rating: 8.5/10

8)  Bhula Denge Tumko Sanam – Remixed by Jatin Sharma
For the first time, a track disappoints and that is Jatin Sharma’s remix that doesn’t raise the spirits and looks mundane.
Rating: 1.5/10

9) For Your Eyes Only (Sonu Nigam)
Sonu Nigam again moors the belts to loot the show with a boisterous number, ‘For Your Eyes Only’. Lyrics and music register impact. Let’s wait for the video of this chunky track hope it will attract as much as the audio does.
Rating: 8.5/10

10) For Your Eyes Only – Remixed by Jatin Sharma
Jatin Sharma knows the values of the original, so churns out the remix version with utmost aplomb.
Rating: 8/10

11)  Rock Star (Abhijeet, Sunidhi Chauhan and Anu Malik)
It seems nice to hear Abhijeet on the album now. He trills ‘Rock Star’ with electrical voice. The foot-tapping number has Sunidhi Chauhan and Anu Malik supporting Abhijeet splendidly. Lyrics and music departments do their job fine too.
Rating: 8/10

12) Dekhte Dehte (Alka Yagnik and Abhijeet)
Abhijeet makes his team with the sugary Alka Yagnik now and renders a romance number, ‘Dekhte Dehte’. The track unbuttons with heavy orchestra that impresses the ears. Both the vocalists deliver the goods with much ease and exceptionally.  A superb audible duet to be with….
Rating: 8.5/10

13) Mere Saath Chalte Chalte (Krishna, Sunidhi Chauhan and Shaan)
The soundtrack concludes with a qawwali, ‘Mere Saath Chalte Chalte’ sung by the trio of Krishna, Sunidhi and Shaan. Krishna, who is a true fit for qawwali and the ilk of numbers, proves himself the best suitable singer for the song where the duo of Sunidhi and Shaan also dominate the show. In total, a classy finish of a classy album.
Rating: 8.5/10

Overall:
Raj Kanwar’s return after a long hiatus of 03 years after the musical blockbuster ‘Andaaz’, this album of ‘Humko Deewana Kar Gaye’ has everything in store for all music lovers from melodious romantic tracks to foot-tapping numbers to qawwali. HDKG is a sure-shot winner all the way and will manufacture whopping sales for T-Series and Raj Kanwar. Yes, they must certainly smile since the outcome is profitable.
Overall Rating: 8.5/10
