1) Bechain
Mera Dil Hai (Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik)
The carnival begins with a love duet, Bechain Mera Dil Hai
sung in the sweet vocals of Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik. Sameer fetches
applause with his well-penned romantic lyrics. Anu Malik displays his
talent with the soften-rhythmic composition. The song is surely a treat
for the lovebirds and equally pleasing for the hoi polloi listeners also.
Rating: 9/10
2) Dil
Main Hulchul (KK and Sunidhi Chauhan)
A seductive song appears with KK and Sunidhi Chauhan and both seduce the
listeners with their husky renditions. Instruments arrangement too
attracts the ears. The song holds appeal both lyrically and musically
as well. The video is on air currently and eyes on the duo of John Abraham
and Lara Dutta. The number catches the pulse and have you press the repeat
button again.
Rating: 8/10
3) Andarlu
Mandarlu (Anu Malik, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal and Sunidhi Chauhan)
A variety of the singers come up next to render a fun number, Andarlu
Mandarlu, which is utterly disappointing. The whole group of the
vocalists fail to deliver. The poorly done lyrics and music further spoil
the song. An avoidable track.
Rating: 1/10
4) Andarlu
Mandarlu Remix Version (Anu Malik, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal and
Sunidhi Chauhan)
The remix version just helps the listeners escape from this horrible number.
The remix too is too poor to listen to.
Rating: 1/10
5) Meri
Zindagi Mein Koyi Title Song (Gayatri Iyer)
Gayatri Iyer features to sing the title song, Meri Zindagi Mein
Koyi. The seductive delivery by the vocalist surely sends a chill
in body. The lyrics penned by Sameer are ordinary whilst Anu Malik shakes
the blood with the composition that generates an atmosphere of some Hollywood
suspense thriller. Overall the song sounds nice.
Rating: 6.5/10
6) Dua
Karna (Sunidhi Chauhan)
The journey ends up with Dua Karna. Sunidhi Chauhan seems
to be losing her talent and gives us an average rendition to hear. Strictly
okay works by the lyricist and musician do not have potential to stay
strongly. A flat song in total.
Rating: 1.5/10
Overall:
Bechain Mera Dil Hai and Dil Mein Hulchul impress.
The rest of the album is simply a PUNCH!
Overall Rating: 4/10
