1) Ek
Dilruba Hai (Udit Narayan)
Udit Narayan renders the opening track, Ek Dilruba Hai with
much oomph. The melodious number displays the pleasant vocals of a veteran
singer, who makes the song sound good thanks to his vocals. Sameer writes
heart-warming lyrics, which are superbly and rhythmically caught under
the icy tunes of Nadeem-Shravan. The video has been airing on all satellite
channels currently starring Akshay Kumar in an altogether different get-up
and Kareena Kapoor in main focus. The direction fetches the attention
as well. This is a nice start to the soundtrack.
Rating: 9/10
2) Ek
Bewafaa Hai (Sonu Nigam)
Sonu Nigam swings with the pop version of Ek Dilruba Hai by
singing Ek Bewafaa Hai with his creatively delivered vocals.
An unidentified female vocalist provides support to Sonu Nigam and renders
her lines very smoothly. The lyrics and music sound fantastic too. This
track is undoubtedly an excellent piece.
Rating: 8.5/10
3) Pyaar
Ka Anjaam (Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik)
Following next is a melodious romantic duet by Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu.
The rendition by the duo is really catchy. Sameer pens creative, romantic
lyrics whereas Nadeem-Shravan scores chilly tunes, which holds the momentum
perfectly. The song is airing presently, featuring Akshay Kumar, Kareena
Kapoor and Sushmita Sen in the lead.
Rating: 8/10
4) Pyaar
Ki Rahein (Shaan)
Shaan too takes his part in delivering the short version of Ek
Dilruba Hai and showcases his singing skills through the song, Pyaar
Ki Rahein. He seems to be in his true elements. The lyrics and music
grow with the song also making the track quite enojoyable.

5) Kaise
Piya Se (Lata Mangeshkar)
Latas fans will be please the legend on the next track! Her

the writing desk adroitly and the duo of Nadeem-Shravan deserve applause
for their music assignment as well.

The instrumental appears to be silky as far as the arrangement of
the musical instruments are concerned. Like the original, it provides
similar joys.

7) Ishq
Chupta Nahin (Abhijeet)
Abhijeet as usual catches your attention with his rendition in a love

song will surely please romantics!
Rating: 8.5/10
8) Kehta
Hai Kabutar (Asha Bhonsle, Shaan)
As well as using the legendary Lata Mangeshkar, the soundtrack also
featuring the amazing Asha Bhosle too. Shaan provides an ample support
to her in singing department. Sameers lyrics are okay but not innovative
whilst this fast-paced item number stars the musicians intelligence,
which holds cooling effects on the listeners minds. The song is
a dance floor style number!
Rating: 8/10
9) Yaad
Yaad Yaad (Ghulam Ali)
After Lata Ji and Asha Ji, its now Ghulam Alis turn to
spread his magic. The listeners get to hear this ghazal maestro in Yaad
Yaad Yaad. No word of praise is really needed for this maestro since
he is already a virtuoso. The dholak attracts the most in the background
amongst the instruments. Sameer does well with the lyrics and Nadeem-Shravan
raise the songs values further with their spellbinding composition.
This song carries some qawwali flavors also. Once you finish the listening,
you automatically go for the repeat button.

10) Drum
Beats (Instrumental)
The instrumental comes up to wind up the album. This zippy instrumental
has background chorus also that adds values to the song. Overall this
is an electric finish of the album.
Rating: 8.5/10
Overall:
After the soundtrack completes its journey, the listeners would love
to rewind the play list in order to inject sweetness in ears once again.
This classically scored album will surely boost albums sales. Being
laced with a number of flops recently, Boney Kapoor must now be a happy
man. Bewafaa is a MUST buy.
